Display Screen Resolution / Window Manager Size

Displays or overrides the physical display screen resolution.

Command Syntax

adb shell wm size
Generic Syntax: wm size [<WIDTHxHEIGHT>|reset] [-d <DISPLAY_ID>]

Options & Parameters

Flag Description
<WxH> Custom width x height override.
reset Reverts override back to native physical hardware resolution.

Real-World Usage Examples

Check physical display resolution
Prints current and physical size.
adb shell wm size
Output:
Physical size: 1344x2992
Simulate 1080x2400 resolution
Changes rendered resolution.
adb shell wm size 1080x2400
Output:
