How to Debloat Samsung Galaxy (One UI 6 & 7) Using ADB: Safe Package List

Remove Samsung bloatware, Bixby, Facebook background telemetry, and carrier apps from Galaxy S24, S23, A-series, and Z Fold devices safely without root.

Prerequisites & Requirements

  • Samsung Galaxy phone or tablet running One UI 5, 6, or 7
  • USB Debugging enabled in Developer Options
  • WebADB Shell or computer with ADB installed

Step-by-Step Instructions

1

Enable USB Debugging on your Galaxy Phone

Open Settings > About phone > Software information > Tap "Build number" 7 times. Go back to Settings > Developer options > Toggle "USB debugging" to ON.

2

Connect to WebADB or Open Terminal

Connect your Galaxy phone via USB and open https://adbtoolkit.com/webadb. Accept the RSA debugging prompt on your phone screen.

3

Remove Bixby Voice and Reminders

Uninstall the Bixby voice services that consume background CPU.

adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.samsung.android.bixby.agent && adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.samsung.android.bixby.service
4

Remove Facebook Background Services

Samsung pre-installs Facebook telemetry daemons (Katana, App Manager, System Services).

adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.facebook.katana && adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.facebook.system && adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.facebook.appmanager && adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.facebook.services
5

Remove Microsoft Pre-installed Apps (Optional)

If you do not use Microsoft OneDrive or LinkedIn, remove them with:

adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.microsoft.skydrive && adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.linkedin.android

How to Restore Any Debloated Package (Undo)

If you ever change your mind or need an app back, restore it instantly using `cmd package install-existing` without factory resetting:

adb shell cmd package install-existing com.samsung.android.bixby.agent
