How to Debloat Xiaomi, Redmi & Poco (HyperOS & MIUI): Safe App List

Remove MSA (MIUI System Ads), Mi Video, Analytics, GetApps, and background bloatware on Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco devices using ADB with zero root.

Prerequisites & Requirements

  • Xiaomi, Redmi, or Poco phone running HyperOS or MIUI 13/14
  • USB Debugging and "USB Debugging (Security Settings)" enabled
  • WebADB Shell or computer with ADB

Step-by-Step Instructions

1

Enable USB Debugging on Xiaomi HyperOS

Go to Settings > About phone > Tap "OS version" or "MIUI version" 7 times. Go to Additional settings > Developer options > Toggle "USB debugging" to ON. Also toggle "Install via USB" and "USB debugging (Security settings)" to ON (requires Mi Account login).

2

Remove MSA (MIUI System Ads)

MSA is the primary daemon responsible for serving push ads across system apps.

adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.miui.msa.global
3

Remove Analytics & Telemetry Daemon

Disables background tracking and telemetry data uploads.

adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.miui.analytics && adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.miui.daemon
4

Remove Mi Video, Music, and Mi Browser

Uninstall ad-heavy duplicate media and browser applications:

adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.miui.videoplayer && adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.miui.player && adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.browser
5

Restore Any Package (Undo)

If you ever need an uninstalled app back, restore it instantly with:

adb shell cmd package install-existing com.miui.videoplayer
