How to Use Wireless ADB Terminal & Shell on Android Without a PC (No Root)

Execute local ADB shell commands, debloat OEM carrier apps, tweak system display DPI, and monitor processes directly on your Android phone using Wireless ADB Terminal with zero PC required.

Prerequisites & Requirements

  • Android smartphone running Android 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, or 16+
  • Connected to any local Wi-Fi router (or mobile hotspot)
  • Wireless Debugging enabled in Developer Options
  • Wireless ADB Terminal : Shell app installed from Google Play

Step-by-Step Instructions

1

Install "Wireless ADB Terminal : Shell" from Google Play

Download and install our official app "Wireless ADB Terminal : Shell" directly from the Google Play Store (Package: com.adbterminal.wirelessdebugging) on your Android device.

2

Enable Developer Options on Your Phone

Open Android Settings ➔ About phone ➔ Software information. Tap "Build number" 7 times until you see the confirmation "You are now a developer!". Return to the main Settings menu and open Developer Options.

3

Turn ON "Wireless Debugging"

Inside Developer Options, scroll down to the "Debugging" section and turn ON the toggle switch for "Wireless debugging". Tap "Allow" on the network confirmation prompt.

4

Pair with 6-Digit Wi-Fi Code (or Floating Overlay)

Tap on "Wireless debugging" (tap the text, not just the toggle switch). Select "Pair device with pairing code". A dialog will display a 6-digit Wi-Fi pairing code and a 5-digit port number (e.g. 38475). Open Wireless ADB Terminal (via split-screen or the app’s floating mini overlay), enter the 6-digit pairing code and the 5-digit port, and tap "Pair & Connect".

5

Execute Local ADB Commands, Debloat & Manage Apps

Once connected, you have full local ADB shell access directly on your smartphone! You can: • Run Shell Commands: Type any command with auto-complete and history memory. • Debloat System Apps: Use the built-in App Manager or run `pm uninstall -k --user 0 <package>` to remove carrier bloatware. • Adjust Display Resolution & DPI: Run `wm size` or `wm density` to customize screen scaling. • Monitor System Processes: View real-time CPU, RAM, and battery stats via `top` and `dumpsys`. • Browse Internal Storage: Use the multi-select file explorer to manage directories and push files.
